Hi, I’m Lisa and I am excited to welcome you into the world of Pilates and movement. I have been a health and wellness professional for over two decades with the goal of helping people discover and lead a more healthy active lifestyle. It is truly my passion, and I believe Pilates is a pillar to make this occur. It has been for me.
My Pilates journey began shortly after I had my first son. Athletics and being active have always been important to me, and it was crucial to continue that lifestyle after becoming a mom. Plus, I was really excited to get back to playing soccer, which is a game I’ve played my entire life.
I began training for my return, but while doing so I discovered I had significant incontinence postpartum. As you can imagine, this was affecting my daily life as well as my performance on the pitch. I needed help, and I was so fortunate to have a friend recommend I try Pilates. What a discovery! I immediately had my “WOW” moment when I experienced how it improved the everyday parts of my life. Little things I had not expected such as mobility with an ease of movement and how my posture changed for the better. It also fixed my incontinence!
What a relief to finally be able to play a whole game without having to change my uniform. It also had an incredibly positive impact on my game as I could kick further, run faster, and I recovered faster. No training I had ever done had brought this many positive outcomes so quickly. “What the heck was this Pilates thing,” I asked myself? I had to find out more about it, and I am so glad I did as what I learned changed my life.
Through Pilates, I learned how to tap into a strength that I never knew existed: a strength that arose from a conversation between all systems of my body, all communicating in sync and enabling me to move with ease and feel a balance between power and strength.
With my 23 years' experience, I’m eager to share with you what I have learned from knowledgeable instructors and educators, my comprehensive Balanced Body teacher training, MELT certification, BCRPA group fitness training, numerous educational courses and workshops, and my own personal practice. I have gained a passion to teach others to learn how to embody the power they hold inside, and that they too can gain strength, relieve pain, calm their nervous systems, regain mind/body connections, and feel a renewed sense of balance and strength.
We all have this in us, come and join us and experience your own “WOW” moment.

Read More >It’s hard to believe that I have been working with Lisa Erlic for over 3 years now, but we began working together in the fall of 2020. Back then, I was so totally naive about what I was getting myself into, as all I knew was that Pilates was supposed to be good for people with hypermobility issues like myself. I quickly learned that this was something that I needed in my life regularly - it was so much more than what I initially expected! We have fostered a beautiful relationship over the years which is unparalleled to anything I have ever experienced. Lisa’s expert knowledge and experience meets me where my body is, and it seems like she always knows what I need. Her compassion, the space she holds for me, and her dedication to helping me build strength and feel good in my body as my guide through my Pilates journey is truly priceless. She planted the seeds very early on and nurtures them at every lesson and class I have with her. Whether it’s a private lesson, a group class, or a MELT Method session, I highly recommend Lisa to be your guide as well.
I also had the pleasure of working with Krista remotely a few times through some Zoom classes, and I loved her energy and creativity during those sessions. They were fun and challenging, but also suitable for multiple levels by teaching the basics and building up to the challenges for those who were ready for them. Her laugh, like Lisa’s, might just be a bit infectious and put a smile on your face like it does for me.
You really can’t go wrong working with Lisa or Krista. You’ll be met wherever your body and mind are at, and you’ll find yourself in engaging movement with down to earth and fun teachers guiding and supporting you the whole way.
